Guiding Philosophy
- The right work is work that I'm compelled to complete with excellence.
- The end results are far more important than using the “right” tools to achieve them.
- If the floor were hot enough, I'd almost certainly be skating around on butter shoes.
Said differently: have fun.

Practical Post-Apocalyptic Electronics
- If you take one baby step outside of our basic survival needs—water, shelter, food, clothing—it's difficult to get very far without being able to harness electricity and use it to get things done. That said, the electronics we use today represent so much rapid technological evolution, that it's easier to relegate their functionality to "smoke and mirrors" and/or "straight up witchcraft" than to maintain a basic understanding of the functionality.
The goal of Practical Post-Apocalyptic Electronics is to develop content capable of equipping a layperson with enough knowledge to build circuits and components necessary to accomplish practical work with electricity.

The Mullet Run
- The Mullet Run is a portable test of one's resourcefulness and creative problem solving aptitude. To succeed in the Mullet Run, participants pilot a small robot and knock down (or "capture") as many flags as possible in three minutes or less. However, some flags are guarded by obstacles that must to be countered with resourcefulness, creativity, and some random, everyday objects. The more difficult a flag is to capture, the more points it's worth!
